GK Designs (Pty) Ltd is a Botswana-based enterprise. How this house actually competes in Gaborone — and what we refuse to become because a search mixed her name with other companies called GK.
Verdict. Part 1 of the brief is the right town. Part 2 is the wrong company. Keep Objects · Rooms · Face. Sell a paid audit, not a free pitch. Do not put German retail software, Yamaha, or Porter on her plate.
1. The Gaborone field (Part 1 — keep)
Flyer shops (Mindota, PM Creative, Soul Design, Silvon Design) stop at the PDF. Fit-out shops (Sasa and the rest) stop at the joinery. Horizon Ogilvy sells network advertising. Johannesburg specifies the Delta palaces.
GK Designs is a Motswana, MD-led industrial-design house that will sit with a factory, restore a room, and keep a brand on a monthly queue. That combination is rare here. It is already the site. Do not flatten it into “we do everything.”
Sasa Interiors is where she trained. Do not try to beat them on joinery volume. Do not publish the “Infinite Union Sculpture at BURS HQ” until she has the photograph and the brief — we could not verify it. Do not put BDIH on the site without a letter. Do not brand the house “premier green” without carbon paperwork she actually holds.
2. The other GKs (Part 2 — discard)
GK Software (CLOUD4RETAIL, GK Engage, price optimiser) is a German retail-cloud firm. GK Design Group is a Japanese industrial house with Yamaha in its history. gkdesigns.net, Texas Gk Designs, and other GK* shops are not Plot 23485. Autocomplete glued them together. We will not.
No omnicommerce. No “goodbye ERP.” No 60-year Yamaha heritage. No kiosk UX product. Those sentences would be a lie with her photograph on them.
